Bust: With your top and bra off, measure around the fullest part of the bust and under the arms. Make sure the tape is straight across your back.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Keep the tape somewhat snug, but still comfortable loose.
Hips: Stand with your legs and feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

"I usually wear XL tops from Forest Ink because I get claustrophobic very easily in tight clothes (I could technically fit in a L). I ordered the Black Dolly corset in 2XL because I wanted to make SURE it fit me without having to let out the laces too far and it barely fit me. I read the reviews and decided to get a 2XL for this corset, as well, and it is perfect! You can tighten/loosen for more or less coverage. If I had gone with the XL, I think I would have the issue where the panels would barely cover my boobs and would show off too much side boob. For reference, I fluctuate between a 36/38DDD. 36-37 in. waist. Because I have a short torso and high-set botty, the bottom does curl up a little in the back, but I don't mind it. Paired it with some other FI pieces and it is SUPER SEXY! The material is super nice. The quality and construction are great. I think my only other comment is that the strings feel a bit more fragile than other strings they use on other pieces. It take a little time and diligence to adjust the strings - carefully so they do not snap - to fit you. But the zipper is great because once it fits you, it can stay that way easily."
