Bust: With your top and bra off, measure around the fullest part of the bust and under the arms. Make sure the tape is straight across your back.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Keep the tape somewhat snug, but still comfortable loose.
Hips: Stand with your legs and feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

"I don’t often have issues with leotard like items because I have a short torso, but the bottoms on the XL of this were so long they hung off me… the rest fit great! I was going to sew it shorter but decided to try a large. It is a little tight around the middle, but still wearable, and the bottoms fit way better.
