Bust: With your top and bra off, measure around the fullest part of the bust and under the arms. Make sure the tape is straight across your back.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Keep the tape somewhat snug, but still comfortable loose.
Hips: Stand with your legs and feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

"I originally purchased a small and was unable to zip it and it was very short. I'm usually a small in Forest Ink but a 34DD so I'm sure my bust was the issue. I exchanged it for a medium and it fits perfectly. It's still short but so cute with the bloomers under it. I'm 5'3 141 lbs."

"I had a hard time justifying this price point, but I decided to pull the trigger. I followed the size chart, and my measurements barely fit within the S measurement range, but I figured I’d rather it be too tight than too loose. When it arrived, it was too large in the midsection and bust area, and isn’t adjustable. The bust area has so much extra fabric, it pools near the armpit and makes it appear like I have strange pockets of fat, and I can’t seem to smooth the extra fabric down. The length of the dress is very short, and while I would be comfortable wearing it (I’m 5’4”), on a taller or curvier person, it would have your entire backside exposed. The zipper feels extremely cheap, does not zip smoothly, and had stray strings fraying around it. The dress just isn’t flattering nor does it live up to the price point. I like the idea of having deep pockets, but when I can’t wear it because I look ridiculous, I rather would have just bought a $30 dress without pockets. Here are my measurements, if you’re similarly sized and still decide to purchase this dress, try an XS and not S: Bust: 35in Waist: 27in Hips: 36. 5in Height: 5’4”"

"The dress is super cute, and the fabric is comfortable. I did have to size up from my usual size to accommodate for the lack of stretch with this fabric. "Looks great and is super comfy. I’m 5’7 and 155lbs, C-D cup size. Ordered a medium. However I’d have to wear bloomers underneath to avoid exposing myself in any way. It’s super super short in the rear end department. The zipper is difficult to work with and doesn’t function smoothly, and the top part of the zipper doesn’t come undone. This makes pulling it on and off difficult without audibly stretching the seams. However it’s adorable and is very flattering, comfy and soft. I’d say it feels to be great quality , and the adjustable bust is nice. I wish the top of the zipper hooked instead of being a strip of solid fabric. Overall happy with it tho as it’s very flattering."
"I have been collecting most of Forst inks clothing and I love every item I recieve but unfortunately this was the first item I recieved that was too small unfortunately and I had already threw away the packaging expecting it to fit perfect since I always get the XL in everything. Also I'm 5'11 so its definitely too short on me to wear out so if I were to lose enough weight to wear it I would definitely have to wear bloomers under because it currently shows half of my butter. Other than that it is gorgeous and great quality I would just size up."
