Bust: With your top and bra off, measure around the fullest part of the bust and under the arms. Make sure the tape is straight across your back.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Keep the tape somewhat snug, but still comfortable loose.
Hips: Stand with your legs and feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

The most important part of my body that needs to be covered by a pair of swim bottoms is popping out on the sides and exposed. I'm not particularly thick in that area and I've never had this problem before with a pair of underwear or swim bottoms. I measured the area that should be covering me to be less than an inch and a half wide. I don't know whose anatomy this was made to fit."

"I was so excited when I put these on because they fit so well. Sexy but also feel like enough coverage in the back. I got size S and my waist is around 27" and hips around 35-36". I was a little worried about the bottom & top straps cutting in too deep in an unflattering way, but they fit totally fine. I ended up adjusting the top straps to the bigger hole to give my waist a little more wiggle room, might also adjust the bottom straps to be a little bigger. I'm glad the buckles are actually functional and can change the size."
