The Opium Flare Pants are our newest premium style inspired by the bestselling Alice Flare Pants. Crafted from our thick, pebbled faux leather, these flare pants feature a fully adjustable corset leg, a high rise fit with a hidden drawstring in the waist to prevent gapping, and a 4-pocket design with belt loops. This pant will pair perfectly with the Opium Corset or Opium Vest for a matching look.

This pant has no stretch, so please follow the size chart for the best fit.

How to measure:

Bust: With your top and bra off, measure around the fullest part of the bust and under the arms. Make sure the tape is straight across your back.

Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Keep the tape somewhat snug, but still comfortable loose. 

Hips: Stand with your legs and feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

The size chart is a general body measurement guideline for you to follow. When reading the description of a style, look for words like 'fitted', 'relaxed' and 'oversized' to get an idea for how a style fits. Styles that use 4-way stretch fabric will have a wider size range than shown above.

Returns: We offer free returns and exchanges for U.S customers with in 30 days of delivery.* We aim to process returns within 5-10 days of receiving them at our warehouse.

Shipping: All orders are shipped from our HQ in carrolton, Texas. 

Processing Time: Orders are usually shipped in 1-2 business days. This excludes subscription orders and pre-orders.

International Shipping: Duties and taxes are included at checkout on all international orders.

Fit issues

"I’m plus sized and sew— I am very familiar with my measurements. Despite this, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a piece from FI that fits me well, and I’ve ordered a few. These pants are unfortunately not an exception. I love the styles Forest produces and believe in their mission, but I don’t think they’ve quite figured out plus sizing yet. Everything is just a little too short to accommodate a body that carries weight in the lower belly, particularly if you have a comparatively small natural waist. I’m going to try to alter them to correct this, but I would size up extra from what you would think you’d need— fit like a glove everywhere apart from the waist, and that can be adjusted with the drawstrings if it sits a little loosely. As it stands, I can neither wear nor return these, so I’m going to make the best of it."

Size is NOT too big

"I ordered a large as I normally wear size 31 and large says 30-32. I couldn't get the pants past my mid thigh. My wears a size 28 and she could barely get them over her thighs."

Great Quality. Runs a bit big.

"I'm giving these 5 stars because other than the size being too big, these are really really high quality. I measured myself and matched up with the size chart to the best of my ability, but the margins between sizes are a bit wide so there's a lot of wiggle room. Which can be a good or a bad thing, depending on the situation. If a smaller size in the short length were in stock I would simply exchange them because they are sick. Unfortunately I need to just send them back. But yeah just be prepared to exchange sizes."
